The second Institute of Historical Research-Strand Group ‘Institutions of British Government’ Research Seminar took place on 26th March from 18.30
Michelle Clement gave a research paper on ‘The Art of Delivery: The Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, 2001-2005’. Michelle Clement is completing a PhD on the topic alongside her role as Researcher-in-Residence at No.10 Downing Street, and in the Strand Group of King’s College London co-teaching modules on the history of the Prime Minister and the Blair Years. Sir Michael Barber, the Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit from 2001 to 2005, was respondent.
