Martin Stolliday
Manager
Martin is responsible for all aspects of the Strand Group’s operations. He also teaches on the MA Government Studies core modules and chairs executive education sessions.
Martin is the manager for the whole of The Strand Group’s activities. He supports all aspects of The Strand Group’s work across teaching, research, events and executive education. He is also responsible for communications and stakeholder relations.
Prior to joining King’s, Martin worked in the press office of the Labour Party from 2010-2015 where he was responsible for press engagement and media monitoring.
Martin studied to post-graduate level under Professor Jon Davis and Lord Hennessy at Queen Mary University of London. He is expert in Prime Ministers and the relationship between government and politics. Martin has Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and is a member of The Strand Group’s teaching team. He teaches on the core ‘Prime Ministers & No.10 Downing Street’ modules and ‘Making Modern Britain: Pivotal Prime Ministerial Decisions.’ Martin also chairs executive education sessions for stakeholders in government such as HM Treasury.
